Icon Legend

Complete -- This story is finished, beginning to end.

Incomplete -- This story has a defined ending point, but we're not there yet.

Ongoing -- This story's ending hasn't been determined yet; think of it as "episodic".

Number of Chapters -- Self-explanatory.

Action/Adventure -- Thrills! Spills! Battle! Danger! All this and more!

Drama -- Kind of a difficult genre to describe. If the story's tone is serious, this is it.

Fantasy -- Knights and dragons! Or, y'know, some other kind of fantasy.

Humor -- My favorite genre. I love to laugh, and I love to make others laugh too.

Mystery -- When the story hinges on an unknown revelation...

Parody -- Don't think of it as "mockery", think of it as... "comedic reinterpretation".

Romance -- Love in all its forms, but specifically the valentine type.

Sci-Fi -- Also known as science fiction. Incredible technologies, most likely.

Song Parody -- New words to an old tune!

Various -- It all depends. There might be many genres or few.

Plot Bunnies

The term "plot bunny", in case you didn't know, basically refers to an idea for a story. The name is fitting, because the bloody things reproduce like crazy. At any given moment, I've got dozens of fanfic ideas in the works. So below are included several summaries from fanfics I haven't completed yet. Hopefully I'll get them done soon, but in the meantime, you can see some of what I'm working on.

• [Azumanga Daioh] Two girls, fresh out of high school. One isn't sure what she wants; the other is certain that what she wants is out of her reach. Thank goodness Maya is looking out for his mother, or things might never work out for them.
• [Dark Cloud 2] Every photograph tells a story, though not all of them are a thousand words long. Max and Monica page through his photo album one night, over a campfire, snacks, and the light of a legendary jewel. Takes place during Chapter 6.
• [Harry Potter] Four years after the defeat of Voldemort, Neville Longbottom finds himself caught up in plots both sinister and benign. Danger, intrigue, explosions, and more -- all in a day's work for Hogwarts' newest Herbology professor.
• [Harry Potter] We can't have a series of HP polkas without addressing one of the largest aspects of the fandom: romantic pairings. A song parody of "Weird Al" Yankovic's "Polka Your Eyes Out", featuring Confused!Neville, Lustful!Hermione, and Forceful!Tom.
• [Mai-HiME] Yuuichi finds Reito's White Day gift to Mai inexplicably irritating, and when he finally pinpoints the reason why, he sets out on a quest to procure some chocolate for her himself.
